Lightly Medicated Livestock

The honest middle rung. The same animals as our non-quarantined listings, held briefly in our systems and given one light course for ich and internal/external worms, then observed eating before they go home. A light course knocks the parasite load down — it does not guarantee full removal, and only the full 40–90 day Quarantine Program does. We condition every medicated fish back onto prepared food on our own systems, so it is eating before it leaves, and in practice it is rare for a lightly medicated fish to ship out and arrive sick. When it ships. The treatment course runs 3–5 days for freshwater and 5–7 days for saltwater, and the animal does not leave until it is eating. If we do not already have it in-house we source it first — allow up to two weeks for it to reach us before that clock starts. From the day you order, plan on roughly two and a half to three weeks.
