Detoxifies ammonia in pond water and tap water with natural active ingredients

API POND AMMO-LOCK Pond Water Ammonia Detoxifier detoxifies ammonia and neutralizes other toxic chemicals in tap water and ornamental ponds to make it safe for fish. This ammonia detoxifying solution removes chlorine and chloramines from tap water, and detoxifies ammonia continually produced in the pond by waste matter. API POND AMMO-LOCK locks up ammonia, converting it into a form that not only is nontoxic to aquatic life, but serves as a source of nutrition for nitrifying pond bacteria in the biological filter. This solution works instantly to eliminate ammonia stress and promote healthy gill function of pond fish.

With API POND products, it’s easy to keep a beautiful pond. For almost 60 years API has developed premium solutions with proven and effective results for your family and ours. API offers a range of testing kits, water conditioners, and nutritionally superior food, because we’re dedicated to making a better underwater world. They work to provide a safe, hospitable environment for fish such as koi, catfish, perch, goldfish and more. At API, we understand the rewards and relaxation of fishkeeping because we have a passion for fish too.

Instructions of Use

Using dosing cap on bottle, add 25 ml (5 tsp.) of AMMO LOCK for every 100 U.S. gallons (378 L) of pond water. Although ammonia test kits will show positive results for ammonia when using ammo lock, the ammonia is in a non-toxic form. AMMO LOCK will hold the ammonia in a non-toxic form until converted to non-toxic compounds by the natural activity of the pond filtration system.
