Whitetail Dottyback (Pseudochromis moorei)

Another small fish with an outsized attitude problem — dottybacks as a family are notorious for claiming a crevice and defending it against anything that swims too close, regardless of size difference. The Whitetail carries a bright white-tipped tail against jewel-toned body color, easy to spot darting between rockwork on patrol.
